Music Director – Erin Burnett Ducros
Erin has been playing piano since she was 5 years old. She is currently the Assistant Principal at Bethel Christian Academy in Hixson, Tn. She has a Bachelors degree from Bellhaven University, a Bachelors degree from Athens State, and is finishing her Masters degree from UTC.
Rog and his wife Julie were both born and raised in the Mojave Desert in Southern Calif. Rog and Julie have 4 adult children and 3 grandkids who call Rog BEAR.
Rog has been in ministry for over 32 years.
Rog started his ministry career as a youth pastor in Ogden UT in 1984.
In 1987 Rog joined the national ministry of Youth for Christ.Rog served as a Middle School and High School Campus Director in Southern California. Rog also was a high school bible teacher at Desert Christian High School.
In 1990, God led Rog and Julie to serve with Youth for Christ in Medford Oregon. While in Oregon Rog served as a Middle School Director, Chaplain at the county juvenile detention center, started a ministry to Hispanic Gang members, he and his wife Julie started a Teen Mom Mentoring ministry, Rog also started a program for mentoring Middle and High School students who were on the verge of dropping out of school. Rog discovered with his athletic background, coaching was a great way to minister and help students. Over the years Rog has coached football, wrestling, and track. To this day Rog still coaches Volleyball at Howard High School and is a volunteer track coach at Hixson High School.
In 2001, Rog was called to start and serve as a Youth for Christ Executive Director in Olympia WA, where he worked with the high number of homeless youth.
In 2005, Rog and Julie moved to Clarksville TN to serve as the Youth Director at Ft Campbell Army Installation. Rog served that role in a joint contract between the Army and Youth for Christ Military Ministries. During his time in Clarksville, Rog also served as the Executive Director at Hope Pregnancy Center, and then went on to serve as a Missions and Serve Pastor at Grace Community Church.
In 2012 , Rog and his family moved to Chattanooga TN, to be closer to the many military installations that Rog was overseeing as the East Coast Coordinator for YFC Military Ministries.
While in Chattanooga, God moved in Rog’s heat to start a local YFC ministry to teens at Howard High School and in the community on the Southside of Chattanooga.
2016, Rog stepped away from Youth for Christ after serving for 29 years. Rog turned the local YFC ministry over to his oldest daughter Katie Williams, who is now serving as the Executive Director of Chattanooga Youth for Christ. Rog is now serving as the Youth & Family Director at Valleybrook Presbyterian Church.
